It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rory on July 25, 2011, after a long and courageous battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Born in Halifax NS, on July 9, 1984, he was the eldest and only son of Edward and Donna (Noade) Reardon. Rory moved to Saint John at the age of 3 months and loved his new city. He graduated from Saint John High School and went to the University of New Brunswick to pursue his mechanical engineering degree. Despite his illness and the many setbacks and challenges he encountered throughout his university years, he graduated in 2010 and received his engineering ring. This was one of his greatest accomplishments of his short life. Rory was a free spirit and made every moment count. He was passionate about many things including cruising around town in his iconic 1995 Suburban and making a hobby of fixing it up. He was an accomplished bike mechanic and enjoyed mountain biking, alpine skiing, fly fishing, hanging out with friends and riding the boat at Grand Bay in the summer. Through the many years of his battle with cancer, he never complained, always had a positive attitude and an infectious laugh that could lift your spirits.
