Abdi is of Iranian Azerbaijani descent from Ardabil.[3] He began his career in 1981 with the children’s TV series “The Traffic Neighborhood”, directed by Dariush Moadebian. His main credits include “The Actor”, “Delshodegan” and “The Snowman".
